China and Korea Triumph at Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2026

HORSENS, Denmark— The Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2026 concluded in Horsens, Denmark, featuring top badminton teams from around the world in one of the sport’s most prestigious events. China claimed the Thomas Cup title, while Korea secured the Uber Cup championship after a series of high-level performances throughout the tournament.

In the Uber Cup final, Korea demonstrated strong teamwork and consistency across key matches. World No.1 An Se young (KOR) delivered a commanding performance in women’s singles, while Kim Ga Eun (KOR) earned an important victory over Chen Yu Fei (CHN). In the decisive fourth match, Baek Ha Na and Kim Hye Jeong (KOR) prevailed in an intense 85-minute match to secure Korea’s third Uber Cup title.

France, led by Alex Lanier (FRA) and brothers Toma Junior Popov and Christo Popov (FRA), reached the final for the first time after an impressive run that included victories over former champions Indonesia, Japan, and India.
