BIRMINGHAM, England— The YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships 2026, one of the sport’s most historic and prestigious tournaments, concluded this week at Utilita Arena Birmingham, once again showcasing the highest level of badminton on the global stage. The tournament’s main court is named the Minoru Yoneyama Court, honouring the founder of Yonex and his lasting contributions to the sport of badminton.
In the men’s singles, Lin Chun-Yi (TPE) captured the title with a composed and attacking performance throughout the tournament, marking a major milestone in his career and further establishing himself among the sport’s rising stars. After the match, Lin shared his joy, saying, “It has always been my dream to win the All England.” With this victory, he is also expected to break into the world’s top 10 in the rankings.
The women’s singles crown was claimed by Wang Zhiyi (CHN), who delivered a confident performance in the final to secure her first All England title.
China’s Liu Shengshu / Tan Ning triumphed in the women’s doubles, completing an impressive run to earn their first All England championship and adding another major title to their rapidly growing partnership.
In the men’s doubles, Kim Won-ho / Seo Seung-jae (KOR) successfully defended their title with a powerful performance in the final.
